On Saturday 4th of May 2019 some students participated in the first JKPG Adventure Race. In teams of 3 they had to solve riddles, join tactical games and perform physical tasks, which included climbing, mountain biking and kayaking. The competition lasted 4 hours and the top 3 teams got rewarded with amazing prices.
Isaias shared with us his opinion about the event: “Adventure race was amazing, there were so many activities from kayaking to digging the sand and rock climbing, it was really fun! With some tasks we were physically challenged, for example in one checked point we had to enter the cold water. This experience taught me a lot about teamwork and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!”

We also asked Nanna, vice president of the Integration and Activity Committee (IAC) and main organiser of the event, the challenges and the most enjoyable aspects of being involved in the management of the JKPG Adventure Race: “Planning the race has been both exciting and a lot of hard work. But after seeing the participants enthusiasm and energy upon the day, it was all worth it. The race went beyond all expectations, which was certainly due to the many volunteers and sponsors who helped us. This is definitely an event worth repeating and I hope even more students will attend next time.”
