Vice President

As the Vice president of the JSA I am the second in command of the Association. My main focus lies in maintaining our connections with other associations at Jönköping University and to maintain the legal quality of all the documents within the association, such as sponsor contracts and our statutes.
Being Vice President requires me to represent the board and the JSA as an entire in several different associations and boards at Jönköping University. Amongst these lies the important task of being JSA’s contact point to Jönköping Student Union and to continuously attend there council meetings.
To be able to maintain the legal quality of the JSA, I feel it is important for me to stay updated about future changes to the law or to any judgments which might concern the association or the board. Behind this, lies the reasoning that the JSA should always have a board which is updated and informed so we can make the necessary changes required.
Another task which has been laid upon the Vice President is to assist the President in the daily management of the JSA. To my help I delegate a lot of the work to the remained of the board, who in their turn delegate to their respective committees. Even though a lot of work is delegated, it should be mentioned that the responsibility of the association and its management, always remains with me and the President. It is our job to make sure that everything within the JSA runs efficiently.
Further I am a member of the Presidium of the Board and act accordingly. Which means amongst many things I represent the JSA in all the bodies except for the board of directors when the President cannot attend.
